Constitution Day Dinner 9/19/2015

The Constitution Day Dinner was a great success!!   The event was held at the Los Alamos County Golf Course Community room and it was a beautiful venue.   The room was filled with guests, officials and candidates.  The food was great and the speakers were inspiring.

The keynote speaker was the youngest ever elected state legislator, WV Delegate (R) Saira Blair.  Saira was elected to office at the age of 18, having won her primary election by defeating an incumbent at the age of 17.

After dinner and the keynote address, the student Essay Contest winners presented their winning essays.  What an inspiration these students were!  Their essays were wonderfully written and brought tears to many in the room.

We also had our very first silent auction.   We had many, many generous companies and individuals donate their services and items.  Thank you to all that participated.

If you came, we thank you so much for coming and for your support.  If you missed this event, we hope to see you next year!
